Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Not recommended for children younger than 10 years old or shorter than 5'0".
Not recommended for those with a severe fear of heights.
Participants should have a reasonable level of fitness, and be capable of hiking an uneven, rocky trail at above 10,000'.

We had an amazing time hiking/climbing the Via Ferrata. If you have not gone before or are not going with someone who has and know what they're doing, I suggest going with a guide. We chose Mountain Trip from another review and glad we did. The guides were all professional, I never felt unsafe and was just a blast to hang out with.

Our guide was great! Met us with all the details of what we needed for our excursion. So friendly and knowledgeable. Reservations were easily made online beforehand. The hike and the trip across the via ferrata in telluride, no words can adequately describe how beautiful! Thrilling and fun. Felt very confident in the gear and our guide. Dave (our guide) took great pictures for us, and even accommodated us when the fear factor kicked in and not everyone wanted to make it all the way across. A fun trip for all! Would definitely use Mountain Trip again for adventures in Telluride.

I wanted to do the Via Ferrata but - as a woman traveling alone? I called Mountain Trip and they were responsive and encouraging. My guide - climber and mountaineer Fischer Hazen - made the experience a safe and fun adventure. I cannot say enough positive about this outfit! I will hire them again and it was worth every penny. Denali or Aconcagua? I will call them for sure!
