Overview

Eco Endeavors can accommodate up to 12 guests on an Adventure based Eco-Tour through The Ten Thousand Islands of south Florida on our custom built, United States Coast Guard Inspected vessel. Throughout the duration of this 3 hour trip, guests will have the opportunity to see abundant wildlife up close such as dolphin, manatee and several species of birds. We will also stop at an isolated barrier island only accessible by boat to search for rare shells, swim or snorkel. We also offer Private tours for small or large groups directly on our website at EcoEndeavors.org.

Due to Hurricane Ian the precautionary advisory issued by DOH officials we have made some temporary changes to the tour: We will pull the boat directly onto the beach so you will not have to enter the water. Being able to successfully navigate 3 steps is required to enter and exit the boat. We DO NOT recommend swimming while on the barrier islands at this time. We DO recommend wearing beach shoes while on the barrier islands. Although not required, we are taking these precautions as safety is always our priority.

Really good tour of the mangrove swamps in a small shallow bottomed boat. We saw dolphins, many birds and enjoyed a walk on a shell covered beach facing the Gulf of Mexico. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and entertaining and its so much more than just the usual holiday boat trip. However its the natural beauty of the environment that really steals the show.

Another great boat trip with Eco Endeavors! We have done several over the years, and they do not disappoint!! We cruised through the mangroves and into open ocean...we found playful dolphins who jumped in our wake and then leaped completely out of the water in front of our boat as we followed in another boat’s wake!!! Beautiful!! We saw so many birds, including osprey, my favorite. Our Captain, Campbell, was a fountain of information and stories, I learned new things about this ecosystem and some Florida history! Their was no wind and the water was like glass. We took our ride over Thanksgiving weekend, with family and friends. Eco Endeavors runs an efficient business, they have a wonderful store on Marco Island where you can purchase gifts or necessities you may have forgotten, like hats and sunscreen. You meet at the store and then hop on a shuttle bus where a personable driver takes you to the docks and picks you up. We loved our trip and highly recommend it when visiting the Naples/Marco area!!

We had a really great time. Captain Dave and Santana were awesome. Very knowledgeable with local history and sea life. We are planning to do it again next year.
