Eco Endeavors can accommodate up to 12 guests on an Adventure based Eco-Tour through The Ten Thousand Islands of south Florida on our custom built, United States Coast Guard Inspected vessel. Throughout the duration of this 3 hour trip, guests will have the opportunity to see abundant wildlife up close such as dolphin, manatee and several species of birds. We will also stop at an isolated barrier island only accessible by boat to search for rare shells, swim or snorkel. We also offer Private tours for small or large groups directly on our website at EcoEndeavors.org.

Due to Hurricane Ian the precautionary advisory issued by DOH officials we have made some temporary changes to the tour: We will pull the boat directly onto the beach so you will not have to enter the water. Being able to successfully navigate 3 steps is required to enter and exit the boat. We DO NOT recommend swimming while on the barrier islands at this time. We DO recommend wearing beach shoes while on the barrier islands. Although not required, we are taking these precautions as safety is always our priority.

My mom and I did the boat tour on our long weekend getaway to Marco island. David our Captain and Valerie our first mate were amazing ! So knowledgeable and kind. We saw tons of dolphins , birds, and even a bull shark! We learned a ton of information about the history of the area, local wildlife, and shells! Definitely recommend as a must do while in the area!

We took my 90 year old dad on this fun trip. We liked that it was limited to only 12 people. We met at the office near Publix and took a nice van to the dock. The trip was about three hours and had a lovely trip seeing many birds and friendly dolphins. We stopped at a sandbar and collected many beautiful shells for my dads garden. Crew was very nice. They helped my dad on and off the boat. Highly recommend for kids and elderly!

This was just a boat ride. There was nothing to see but a couple of very common birds, which can happen I understand, but near the end of the trip the captain actually sped the boat up towards some osprey sitting peacefully in the trees along the waterway then turned suddenly to scare them and make them fly overhead trying to stir up some wildlife to make the ride interesting. What a kindergarten behavior and for an Eco tour completely unacceptable. I would rather see only a few birds being respected on a trip than to have a captain acting like this. Making money off tourists and not really giving anything of value. If you love nature and wildlife there are much better ways to do than this tour, so unfortunate as I was so looking forward to this trip. I love and respect all animals.
