Overview

Eco Endeavors can accommodate up to 12 guests on an Adventure based Eco-Tour through The Ten Thousand Islands of south Florida on our custom built, United States Coast Guard Inspected vessel. Throughout the duration of this 3 hour trip, guests will have the opportunity to see abundant wildlife up close such as dolphin, manatee and several species of birds. We will also stop at an isolated barrier island only accessible by boat to search for rare shells, swim or snorkel. We also offer Private tours for small or large groups directly on our website at EcoEndeavors.org.

Due to Hurricane Ian the precautionary advisory issued by DOH officials we have made some temporary changes to the tour: We will pull the boat directly onto the beach so you will not have to enter the water. Being able to successfully navigate 3 steps is required to enter and exit the boat. We DO NOT recommend swimming while on the barrier islands at this time. We DO recommend wearing beach shoes while on the barrier islands. Although not required, we are taking these precautions as safety is always our priority.

Had a wonderful dolphin and shelling tour. Captain Campbell kept us informed and was very entertaining. Saw 3 adult and a baby dolphin shortly after leaving the dock. They swam in our wake for at least 5 minutes. Had a fantastic time.

Captain Dave and Valerie provided for a GREAT adventure! I had always wanted to see the domes, was just surprised that there are only 4. From looking at photos on google, I thought there were more. Learned that 2 had sunk with Hurricane Irma as there were originally 6. From dolphins following the wake of the boat and time spend on Morgan Beach finding shells, seeing birds along the mangroves, it provided a unique, fun, and different experience. Reading prior reviews, somebody had commented about confusion that the office is located at a Publix plaza. The instructions when you book the tour are pretty clear where to meet (at the Publix plaza) and that a shuttle will take you to the dock as there is not enough parking at the dock. I highly recommend the tour and don't forget to bring a bag if you want to take shells back home to display.

Our favorite part was seeing the dolphins and learning all about the history of marco, the ten thousand islands, and the wildlife. The boat ride was absolutely beautiful and being able to see the breathtaking views from a boat was priceless. Captain Dave was excellent! We couldn't have asked for a better captain on our tour!
