I wish I could have left 0 stars. First, I’m not sure who is at fault here but my guess is Viator. Booked weeks ago, blocked out the whole day of our trip to San Antonio for this highly rated tour, was charged the day before as expected, received text with link to tickets, as expected, and on the day of the tour reached out to Viator after the pick up was a no show. Viator said tour cancelled by vendor at the last minute (if that were true, why didn’t Viator notify me?). I contacted vendor directly and was told tour was never scheduled to begin with and shouldn’t have been allowed to be booked. Now, I have a one day hole in my vacation. Beyond frustrating and disappointed to put it mildly.

Our guide Mike was very knowledgeable about the area. He made the trip so much fun. We’re so good we went.

It was a great tour getting out of San Antonio and into the Hill Country of Texas. We toured and visited several of LBJ’s significant sites including the house he was born in, his childhood home, his 1 room schoolhouse and a driving tour of his ranch. We spent a couple of hours in Fredericksburg for lunch and shopping, then on to Luckenbach, Texas, for music and refreshment. The last stop before heading back was a family owned winery. This day was packed full, yet we never felt rushed to finish up and get to the next stop. It was a wonderful relaxing day!
