The American Prohibition Museum Admission Ticket

Overview
The American Prohibition Museum, located in Savannah's City Market, is the first and only museum in the United States dedicated to the history of Prohibition. While here, self-guided guests will travel back in time to the early 1900s, as anti-alcohol rallies swept the nation and the “booze problem” was pushed to the forefront of American politics. The true story of America’s struggle with the liquor question, the passing of the 18th Amendment, its impact on the nation, and the far-reaching consequences of the 13 years of Prohibition all come to life within the walls of the American Prohibition Museum.

Upgrade to the Guided Tour Option or the Guided Tour & Cocktail Experience option. Each will give you a fully guided 45-minute tour. The Guided Tour option also includes a period-accurate cocktail or mocktail. The Guided Tour & Cocktail Experience option includes a bartending experience in our speakeasy tasting an Old Fashioned and MAKING a Bees Knees!

Our hotel (Fairfield Inn) had tours at a discounted rate, so we decided to go. No regrets! This place was great! My great uncle was a rum runner so this is close to my heart! I loved the Speak Easy at the end and the drinks were so tasty. Bring your drinks at the door, you save $2 per drink. They have non alcoholic drinks, too!

I’ve visited this museum alone on New Year’s Eve, and it was fantastic! I expected it to be interesting going in but I didn’t expect how much I would love it. We are going back to Savannah this month and we plan on visiting again. The best part was the bar halfway through! I’ve been making the drink I had for months at home.

This left us with a somewhat worth it and partially a wast of time and money. Had some thought provoking statements that led to enlightening us about that time; however would not recommend this as a stopping point. Too many other things to do.
