A fantastic tour! We were expecting a cultural tour, but we received that and so much more! We were especially interested in all the historical information provided. We learned a lot about the Battle of Brooklyn in the Revolutionary War. Despite reading a lot about Abraham Lincoln, I never knew that he visited the Plymouth Church so we learned more about the events leading up to the Civil War, too. Bruce was very prepared and enthusiastic throughout the tour.

Thank you very much for your feedback on the Best of Brooklyn/Brooklyn Revolution tour. Yes, I agree that it's not commonly known that Lincoln visited the Plymouth Church in Brooklyn and how important the church was in his political career. I hope to see you on another tour. Thanks again, Bruce

I can only agree with all the previous comments in that this is an extremely well put together tour that gives you an excellent insight into the Brooklyn Bridge and it’s environs over the years. Despite dreadful weather we had a great morning in Bruce’s company and I have no hesitation in highly recommending it to anyone who wishes to know more about the history of the area. Thanks again Bruce….we will be back.

I had a brilliant afternoon with Bruce, learning all about Brooklyn and its fascinating history. Bruce is a wonderful guide - even though I was the only person on the tour that day, he still went ahead with the experience and took me on a trip across Brooklyn Bridge and through DUMBO to Brooklyn Heights, all the way explaining the historical and cultural significance of the area. I've come away with a greater appreciation for the borough, which I previously knew next to nothing about! As an added bonus, Bruce helped me back to the subway and directed me back to Midtown, and followed up with an email with links to things he'd referenced, like movies and documentaries. He is such an attentive guide and I fully recommend this experience!
