The Lion King

The Lion King musical tells the Hamlet-like tale of Simba, prince of African lions, who battles his evil Uncle Scar for the throne. But before Simba can take his rightful place in the "Circle of Life", he grows up with his two fun-loving friends, wisecracking meerkat Timon and smelly warthog Pumbaa. Together they teach Simba their philosophy of life, "Hakuna Matata" (No Worries). Based on the 1994 Disney film, and book by Roger Allers and Irene Mecchi, the musical includes the Oscar-winning song "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." Additional songs are by Hans Zimmer, Lebo M, Mark Mancina and Jay Rifkin. This visual feast is famous for director Julie Taymor's complex animal-puppet-human fusion, and is loved by audiences of all ages.

I bought the tickets on Headout the day before the show! Great seats! Great price and the best part was when I got to New York, 30 minutes before the show a text was sent with my hosts name and her actual location! I could text her, call her, and when I reached her she checked my ID and handed me my tickets! Super easy! Super fast! I will definitely do this again!

We had a fantastic experience at Minsl Theatre, both for the show (amazing!!!) and for the Headout person who gave us the ticket just outside 30 minutes before the planned time. Everything was perfect!! Elizabeth too. Strongly recommended

booked two tickets one week ahead. got phone call one day ahead and was told the ticket is for Frozen by mistake, due to "computer error", had to reschedule to another day. on the day of the show, when i arrived the box office to pickup ticket, was told there is no ticket and due to "computer error" again. so i waited for two days for nothing. had to pay much higher price to purchase ticket at the window, and i think i am lucky since there is still ticket and i have to leave the next day. if you do want to make sure you can see the show as planned day/time, don't book with these guys, they can't be trusted.
