The Lion King

The Lion King musical tells the Hamlet-like tale of Simba, prince of African lions, who battles his evil Uncle Scar for the throne. But before Simba can take his rightful place in the "Circle of Life", he grows up with his two fun-loving friends, wisecracking meerkat Timon and smelly warthog Pumbaa. Together they teach Simba their philosophy of life, "Hakuna Matata" (No Worries). Based on the 1994 Disney film, and book by Roger Allers and Irene Mecchi, the musical includes the Oscar-winning song "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." Additional songs are by Hans Zimmer, Lebo M, Mark Mancina and Jay Rifkin. This visual feast is famous for director Julie Taymor's complex animal-puppet-human fusion, and is loved by audiences of all ages.

This was my first time buying from Headout! I purchased 2 separate tickets for me and my husband, since there were no available tickets to get next to each other. We drove all the way from Chicago to see the Lion King. Two hours before the show starts Headout called me saying they don’t have my ticket!!! Can you imagine that???!!! I was devastated!!! My husbands ticket was available, mine is NO! To see the show was the main reason we drove to the city from Chicago, and they ditched you right before the show starts!!! Luckily , I was able to buy another solo ticket from the box office , which was half price cheaper that HEADOUT sells! People, don’t rely on this shady company, they can ditch you any moment and leave you with no ticket!!!

I love the theater and this show blew me away. This is worth seeing over and over. I took my autistic teenage son and he was delighted with the show. The music, the choreography, the lighting, it was breathtaking and you could feel the energy of the cast. Go see this, you won’t regret it!

Booked it with the headout company. This was my first time using "headout". It's a different concept but it works :). It was raining when we went but the headout person was there waiting on us regardless, to give us our tickets. Very pleased!
