What To Expect

The Official Art Deco Gift Shop

Founded in 1976, The Miami Design Preservation League has proudly offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years. All Proceeds go towards supporting preservation. Visitors are introduced to the history, architecture, and preservation efforts of Miami Beach. Tour ticket includes free admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each tour, so early bookings are encouraged . Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure for check-in.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Our tour guide, Martin, did a great job mixing historical references with comedic relief to teach us about South Beach's rich cultural and architectural history. We learned why South Beach's pastel color palette reshaped Miami's future, how gamblers found a hotel's secret bookie, and how to identify an original building from a new development. You won't want to miss this tour. Book today! P.S. Make sure to visit the Art Deco Welcome Center gift shop after your tour for some unique vintage memorabilia.
