Given the number of different operators of canopy tours in Monteverde the decision of which one to choose was not easy. We decided that the original tour, whilst not the longest or fastest offered more variety, we were not disappointed. The instructors were great and after a short but thorough briefing we were off. After a steady start and some additional wildlife spotting we were soon onto longer zip lines before they chucked in a tarzan swing and just as I was getting over confident, dropped us down a rapid rappel and tree climb (not for the faint hearted but an awesome experience). The final zip line across the valley and tree tops will stay with me forever. The instructor was kind enough to take a video for us lest we forget. Great value, top marks for safety and great fun.

This tour was absolutely one of the best adventures we've been on, and for many reasons. #1, this is the original zipline in Monteverde area and is neither commercial nor overbooked, #2, the guides were very thorough and made us feel comfortable the entire time, #3, the guides had a great sense of humour and made us laugh and teased us like we were old friends, #4, the experience of being in the tree canopies is simply amazing. We highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in the area.
