My family and I have done a number of canopy walks and canopy repel, etc but this experience is amazing. One zip line is 800 meters tall and way up there in the sky. The only issue is that it usually rains or drizzles and you will get grease all over you. No warnings are given despite the fact they sell rain coats in the gift shop next to the reception. I strongly advise you bring your own waterproof and grease proof clothing or something extremely old that you do not want to use again

This was s very fun activity and a lot of fun things to do for a decent price! But we expected a little more adventurous, But nice to say that we have tried the first canopy around the world

When we asked our nature tour guides in Monteverde to recommend a zip line tour company to us, they unanimously recommended the original zip line tour company, based on the fact that we were all much more interested in the views of the cloud forest than a serious adrenaline rush. But despite that, we each had the option to make our tour more or less adventurous by choosing to take part in/forego the Tarzan swing and rappel/tree ladder activities in addition to the 15 different zip lines. The guides were all very patient and professional and helped calm our nerves by making it seem like no big deal at all that we were standing on small platforms five stories above the ground. They even offered to take video with our phones so that we could capture the experience of our favorite lines. Some of the lines were higher/faster/longer than others, but all offered breathtaking views of the cloud forest reserve both above and below. And in between two particular lines, we got some great shots of howler monkeys high up in the trees. In our group, we had people with various levels of comfort with heights, and we all had an amazing experience. It was well worth the $45 price for this 2.5 hour adventure!
