We had a great time at The Original Canopy Tour! As a family with 4 children under 12, the ratio of 3 guides to a total of 8 people was a wonderful service level. The guides were very helpful, friendly, and helped make sure we had a good time, with safety always on mind and the kids never pressured to partake in any activity (even though they did all of them)! I highly recommend Original Canopy tours to anyone, but especially those wanting a higher service level. If you are doing multiple zip line locations, do this one first for the best introduction, and since others typically have higher, longer, and specialty (Superman, etc.) line.

Five years ago we had am amazing experience zip lining with the Orignal Canopy Tour in Monteverde so we went back again. Everyone had a blast - out boys who are 13 and 11 and even my parents who are both 71. Two thumbs up for Ronald and the guides!

We enjoyed the Original Canopy Tour at the end of March with our three kids, ages 13, 10, and 10. It was the highlight of our Costa Rican vacation for all including Dad who is not crazy about heights. The staff are incredibly professional and personable. The whole time we felt safe. As an added bonus they took amazing pictures with our cameras. In my opinion Original Canopy seems more authentic than other tourist attractions. There is a short hike to the lines which means you are immersed in the forest. At one point we zipped through a group of howler monkeys. That was truly a special experience. The size of group was relatively small at 11 which allowed us to move quickly. We had minimal waiting at each of the platforms. I highly recommend the Original Canopy Tour if you are in the Monteverde area.
