The most craziest decision I have made in my life. The first original canopy tour in the world. My heart skipped a beat when I was released for the Tarzan swing, falling down from meters above. I was not aware that there were so many lines to cross. It took about 3 hours to complete the entire course of canopy lines, one line is 800 meters long high above the rainforest. The guides are awesome! Despite they look cool or maybe stern but they are simply marvelous! I thought I was not afraid of height till I went for this trip. I do not usually give 5 stars in my rating but this deserve 100%. You have to do this when you are in Monteverde, make it into your bucket list.

The staff here was incredible, making our tour thrilling, fun, and safe. They were never annoyed with me when I seemed a little afraid and made sure everyone in the group was having a great time. They also took our cameras and took pictures/videos of us throughout the entire experience so now we have great photos to show our friends and family. This tour also had a lot of great variety: tarzan swing, rappel, climbing through a hollow ficus tree, zip lines within the canopy and long ziplines above the canopy. The tour also didn't seem overly touristy like some of the other places. There were only 4 people in our mid-day group. I would highly recommend. (My husband actually wanted to go back again the next day!)

My husband and I did this for our 46th wedding anniversary and what a blast! We felt very confident in the company's safety rating, briefing for participants, and safety equipment. The staff did an excellent job briefing us before going and staying with us from one tree platform to the next. This was something I really wanted to do, but also had a little trepidation, but when we were ready to push off on the first of 10 runs, I was hooked! It was a fantastic experience, and the views from high up in the air hanging from a cable were awesome! I wished that we could have done a second run right away! Afterwards, the staff walked us down to the river so we could view all the crocodiles. Thankfully it was after lunch -- theirs! And they stayed on the other side of the river. Make sure you ask for "The Original Canopy Tour."
