Went with my 13 yr old son and made reservations for the 7:30am tour the next day. CRC42,000. We showed up the next day and only one other couple was there. Everything was as described by others below however the Superman option was never discussed by either guide. I think they were ready to be done with the tour as I'm sure they make much larger tips with the bigger crowds in the middle of the day. It was still a good experience without Superman. They have at least one helmet with GoPro mount that we used, so be sure to ask about it first before someone else starts wearing it. The grounds of Monteverde Cloud Forest Lodge seem very nice and I would lean to staying there next time in Monteverde.

I did a lot of research before booking with this specific company. My family loved this adventure and my 10 years old son woke up next morning asking for more. Everything was great - the whole setting, hike to the canopies, instructors, equipment - top notch with authentic feel to it. Highly recommended.

The tour itself was great - way up in the canopy and climbing the outside of the strangler fig tree was fun, if a little scary. What let it down for us was the mixed attitude of the staff. They set a somewhat blistering pace as if they couldn't wait for it to be over. I suspect it was simply the fact that the next tour was due but, still, it was less than what we have come to love about Costa Rican friendliness on the rest of our trip.
