Can't say enough good things about our recent experience zip-lining with The Original Canopy Tour in Monteverde - my fiance and I had an incredible time. We were part of a group of six that went, and there were four guides with us. Even though it was raining, we had a great time. Our guides were very attentive and you felt very safe throughout the experience - you were always clipped in two different ways, so you never had to worry about anything. I'm terrified of heights and I still had a lot of fun and the guides were really supportive. There's a tarzan swing you can do (optional) and then you do a 150-foot free rappel down from a tree platform (which freaked me out, but which I managed to do and it wasn't that scary at all). You also climb up the inside of a tree (and partially on the outside at top), and you get some incredible views on the last runs. Overall a really fun day and I'd highly recommend this tour in Monteverde as the views were incredible and the guides were great. Would absolutely return to this company and tour if we go back to Costa Rica!

Second time zip lining in Costa Rica. Our guide was very good and loved his town of Monteverde. The tour itself is wonderful because of the height and lushness of the jungle. You zip line through the canopy, climb up through a tree, do a tarzan swing at the beginning, and have an option of a newly opened superman (1 minute) ride zip line that's 8-- m long (had not yet opened). I would do it again.

When planning our trip to Costa Rica, my sister and I were determined to be brave enough to do a Zip Line. Once arriving in Monteverde, Original Canopy was by far the most recommended company. Our staff, Carlos, Andrey, Tomi, Adolfo, and Greiun, were fantastic. Their sense of humor, knowledge, and just seeing how much fun THEY were having completed this experience. We were not at all scared and greatly enjoyed the company of the family we were grouped with (including children 10-14 who were having a blast). Views are fantastic, there are so many ziplines, and they really warm you up with the shortest lines at the beginning that are not very high. One of the staff members even took our camera for the day and took amazing videos and pictures of us. I wanted to go back and do this again the next day!
