We took the original canopy tours. We decided for "The Original Canopy Tours" because they have smaller groups than other places and because it includes rapelling and climbing through a hollow tree trunk. We had a great time, the guides José and Pedro were friendly, polite, funny and professional at the same time. They were also great with our kids (8 and 11). We can recommend this tour warmly!

The Original Canopy Tour came highly recommended to us from family who have traveled to Monteverde previously and we were not disappointed. Monteverde hosts several adventure tourism locations and the choices can be mildly overwhelming - so picking this location with its lower than average price (45$ USD) worked out very well for us. Our guides David and Joshua were outstanding - very friendly, professional, hunourous and highly encouraging to some in the group who had some nervousness with heights and the Tarzan swing. All safety equipment was well demonstrated and was in an excellent state of repair - name brand equipment and excellent safety procedures throughout! The 15 cables are a lot of fun and increase in length and height as you go making for a great Segway it’s more interesting lines. The repelling was short but a nice touch in addition to the Tarzan swing. Overall we highly recommend this company for a fun, budget friendly way to explore the rain forest canopy with funny, safe and professional guides!
