I chose The Original Canopy Tour because of the convenience (proximity to my hotel and good timing). It was my first canopy tour and I didn’t really know what to expect. In addition to a great experience, I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism of the staff, their empathy, and sense of humour. The experience is well designed, from “easy”/short zip lining to the last before final (and longest - 800m) with excellent views. Last but not least, the videos and photos taken by the guides are great fun. Thank you Pedro, David and Cambers.

This was SO MUCH FUN. You complete 15 Zipline cables, and have the option to swing from a Tarzan swing, and rapel down and climb up a ficus tree. The guides are well trained and make sure you know exactly what you need to do stay safe and have a great time. They even collected our phones to take photographs of us and videos of the ziplines. There is some hiking in between some of the lines, I think three short walks total. The longest line was 800 meters and there were incredible views of the valley and the Nicoya Gulf. I'd recommend booking as soon as you get to Monteverde, they fill up fast and it didn't seem like the website would allow for reservations (although this could be user error). Absolutely worth the $45 to participate!

The tour takes place in in a beautiful environment and is great fun. Our guides Gerald and Josue were amazing and did a really good job. Both have a good sense of humor and are very empathic. With the 2 of them one always felt secure and taken care of. I am very glad i had chosen the "original" canopy tour - even though it may be a little less adventurous than what other providers offer. I would definitely do it again. Worth mentioning is also the low price of USD45. The tour is suitable for everyone (young and old), who like to try something, but do not want to risk a heart attack ;-)
