DO NOT MISS the opportunity to do this zip wire activity if you are ever in Monteverde. It is brilliant. I was so frightened but Pedro and Gerald made me feel so safe and secure that I decided to carry on even though I was going to give up 1/2 way through. These 2 are really good at their jobs and comical with it.

I did not end up going on the tour as I originally wanted to. Though the other visitors with us had a wonderful time.

Most ziplines are more about adrenaline than anything else. This one was different. There are plenty of moment of accelerated heart rate, but the the platforms are a hundred feet up in the canopy. The scenery is overwhelming. Climbing up through the middle of an ancient tree will blow your mind. It's by far the best I've done and I've been on quite a few.
