Somerset Vineyard and Winery

Somerset Vineyard & Winery, located on the property formerly known as Keyways, is a wine lover’s first stop along Temecula Valley’s De Portola Trail. The owners of Somerset share an unbreakable bond strengthened by a mutual passion to live and love in every moment of this life together. At Somerset, winemaking is the art of curating unique tasting wine that delights each drinker with every single sip. The vineyard is rooted on 13 acres that bear fruit from the Rhône varietals such as Viognier, Roussanne, Grenache and Syrah as well as the Spanish Macabeo, Monastrell and Tempranillo. This means that each bottle is an homage to ancient recipes born from soil and shared experiences.

I did the Temecula Winery tour and it was so much fun!! Not only did it exceed my expectations, but I left with a full stomach and lots of knowledge. I went on a solo trip just for fun and ended up feeling super comfortable and made a few friends too! We visited 3 wineries and stopped for a bite to eat, which I should’ve had less of, because a huge cheese and meat platter was included too! I’m definitely coming back for my birthday in a couple months!

I had a great day. Joseph was prompt with pickup and the wineries were very well prepared for us. It was warm outside but comfortable in the van. Overall, I had a super time, would book with them again.

We were picked up at the Marriott Newport Coast Villas for our day trip to the beautiful wine country of Temecula. Our driver and tour guide, Joe, was very knowledgeable (and entertaining) about the area and the three vineyards we visited. We stopped briefly in the charming town of Temecula and also for lunch. At the last tasting we enjoyed a delicious cheese board. All in all we highly recommend this tour.

Thank You! Temecula is a cool little town that is quaint and charming with the old cowboy feel, we like this stop because of the feel and the views of the valley.
