This tour includes lunch, combines our Boldt Castle Tour stopping at Heart Island for a tour of Millionaire George Boldt's Rhineland style castle, a cruise through Millionaires Row viewing magnificent summer homes of the rich and famous of the gilded age, and a stop at Rock Island Lighthouse to visit the "Keepers Cottage" Museum & Gift Shop and climb to the top of lighthouse to enjoy the spectacular view of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Construction began on Boldt Castle in 1900 at the bidding of millionaire hotel magnate George C. Boldt as a tribute to his beloved wife Louise. Boldt Castle was designed as their summer dream home. A castle rivaling those of Europe, built on the St. Lawrence River, in the heart of the 1000 Islands. However it was not to be, Mrs. Boldt passed away suddenly just months before the completion of the castle. Mr. Boldt was inconsolable and immediately stopped all construction on Heart Island, leaving the property vacant for over seventy years… The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority (TIBA), who owns and operates Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House, invite you to explore our website. Rock Island Lighthouse State Park

The boat had 41 people. It gave peace of mind that small groups helped to avoid over crowded boat and seating arrangements were nice. Enjoyed the trip. The crew was great.

The trip was great from start to finish! Our Captain Matt and his First Mate/Tour Guide Chris made us feel very welcome and were fun to be with for the 5 hour tour. Our group was small and more personal with just 19 passengers on our boat. This is an amazingly scenic trip and Chris was a wealth of knowledge with facts and stories and local history! The time off the boat to tour Boldt Castle and Rock Island Lighthouse was perfect! The entire trip even though it was 5 hours long seemed to fly by! I highly recommend this trip! The views of the islands, the castle and lighthouse the friendly and professional attitudes of all the staff were wonderful! Even the lunch provided with our tickets was very good! My husband and I chose the grilled chicken wraps. This tour truly is worth every penny! We would chose this trip again over any other tour!
