This tour includes lunch, combines our Boldt Castle Tour stopping at Heart Island for a tour of Millionaire George Boldt's Rhineland style castle, a cruise through Millionaires Row viewing magnificent summer homes of the rich and famous of the gilded age, and a stop at Rock Island Lighthouse to visit the "Keepers Cottage" Museum & Gift Shop and climb to the top of lighthouse to enjoy the spectacular view of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Construction began on Boldt Castle in 1900 at the bidding of millionaire hotel magnate George C. Boldt as a tribute to his beloved wife Louise. Boldt Castle was designed as their summer dream home. A castle rivaling those of Europe, built on the St. Lawrence River, in the heart of the 1000 Islands. However it was not to be, Mrs. Boldt passed away suddenly just months before the completion of the castle. Mr. Boldt was inconsolable and immediately stopped all construction on Heart Island, leaving the property vacant for over seventy years… The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority (TIBA), who owns and operates Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House, invite you to explore our website. Rock Island Lighthouse State Park

Stop at Rock Island Lighthouse State Park where visitors can climb to the top of the Lighthouse, walk the island, and visit the keepers cottage which is a museum and gift shop.

The tour was nice, lunch was good. The ride was a little cramped. We went on the Monday August 29th tour. Sometimes it seemed like too much info, the hostess was assisting the captain, tending bar, and talking. What I mean about tmi is just Sometimes it's nice just to sit there and listen to the boat and water and nothing else. Maybe edit the speaking just a tad???

Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great food truck lunch and non-alcoholic beverages included in price. Plenty of time to see Bolt Island and the Lighthouse. Great value for the money. Boat was very clean with restroom on board.
