What a fun way to explore the LA area! Mickey was a great guide. He made the trip enjoyable for our whole family… Including both teenagers. Lunch in Venice was yummy and the e-bikes were awesome. Highly recommend this tour!

We were a party of one adult and two children who were on holidays from Australia. We prepaid our tour for A$923 prior to our arrival. On arrival for the tour the operator advised that my son was slightly to short and would cancel our session due to safety. Again THIS WAS CANCELLED FOR SAFETY REASONS BY THE OPERATOR. The tour operator is now REFUSING to provide a full refund. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL AND SIMPLY NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS. There are lots of tour operators out there doing the same thing folks. Please choose a different company and hope they have better morals…

While we welcome CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, this reviewer's multiple duplicate reviews require some context for anyone reading them. When booking this tour, it explicitly states as you are choosing which bikes to use for the tour “eBikes will fit riders 4'9" / 145 CM and above. Otherwise, choose standard bikes.” This customer chose the eBike option for all 3 tickets he purchased, and listed his own height in metric while listing both of his children in Imperial measurement as both being 4’9” despite there being a rather noticeable height difference between them. Upon arrival before he even signed a liability waiver, our staff questioned whether his son would be tall enough to fit on the eBike and the customer insisted that both of his son and daughter were “right on the border of 4’9” (which would not be true given the noticeable height difference) and it wouldn’t be a problem. Once we attempted a test ride with his son, it was correctly determined that the son would not be tall enough to ride the eBike because his feet didn’t even touch the ground. Yet at this point the customer was still trying to have his son do the tour on that ebike, creating an unsafe situation for his son, for our other guests, and for everyone else on the road. The customer was at this point offered the opportunity to do the tour on standard bikes (on which his son WOULD fit) but the customer DECLINED. The customer then told our staff at the front desk that he must have made a mistake in doing the conversion from metric to Imperial DESPITE the fact that both Imperial and metric minimum heights are listed as a requirement at checkout (as stated earlier). So why is he not eligible for a refund? This customer knowingly provided false information about his son’s height, and then refused the appropriate (and safe) solution to ride a different bike. This customer’s insistence to use a bike that would not be safe for his son could have been avoided immediately before even purchasing tickets for this tour. But he instead ended up costing our staff a considerable amount of time and therefore money (including responding to the multiple duplicate reviews he seems to be leaving elsewhere).

I am an avid biker, so I chose a non-electric bike originally, however I ended up with a solo tour and a free upgrade. Having never ridden an electric bike, and not really wanting to use the "help," I still realize how beneficial it could be considering the length of the ride. This is a pretty long ride, but we made plenty of stops to rest, refresh and have lunch. Mickey also provided a great deal of historical information about LA during some of these stops. Mickey, was very friendly, informative and patient throughout the day! And, even though an electric bike weighs about 40 lbs., both Mickey and I made it through the entire 30+ mile ride without using the electric assist! It was an awesome experience for someone who enjoys being active and outdoors! It's a great way to jumpstart your trip and it was a sightseers dream!
