Walt Disney Family Museum

Marvel at the staggering collection of awards Walt won, and don't miss the model of the Disneyland as he initially imagined it. Upgrade to also gain access to the Diane Disney Miller Exhibition Hall. Tour this inspiring museum at your own pace, staying as long as you wish during opening hours. Before you leave, make sure to take some gorgeous photos of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay through the museum's wall of glass and from the grounds.

The entire experience just flowed from the beginning of Walt Disney's life til the end. Plan on at least three hours if you interact and read all of the exhibits. My family were captivated during the self guided tour. Great family experience, including the awesome surrounding areas (parks, restaurants, etc.).

An amazing collection of Walt’s work and an in depth look into his life, dreams, & art. The kids enjoyed a walk through the Disney past.

I found the history of Walt Disney and his early endeavors (he had many comic characters before Mickey Mouse) very interesting. I spent so much time in his early years, I didnt have time for some of the later achievements, like Disneyland. The information is presented interestingly, naturally using animation in many exhibits.
