A very informative museum dealing with the period of the Pan American exhibit in Buffalo in 1901, the subsequent assassination of President McKinley, and the inauguration of President Theodore Roosevelt. You see the actual room where Teddy Roosevelt was sworn in and the press he received. This was a learning experience and highlighted the importance of Buffalo, New York at the beginning of the twentieth century.

What a wonderful experience! Call ahead or book on line before you go. There is free parking available on site and the price is reasonable. They have a stocked giftshop full of Roosevelt items. The tour itself was extremely informative about the president and other key figures surrounding the assassination and assumption of the presidency. There is even an opportunity to have your picture taken at a replica White House office desk and enjoy interactive video exhibits.

We had an outstanding experience busting the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site. The staff was very friendly from the minute we walked in. Our tour guide Mark was knowledgeable, friendly, energetic and enthusiastic. He made the history come alive during our tour. He answered all our questions. The tour was worthwhile while visiting Buffalo. They have a large parking lot for visitors. We also enjoyed the gift shop. Thanks for a great experience!
