Wow! I really don’t have adequate words for this special experience, but I’ll try. This is a twofer trip - you get mangrove tunnels AND bioluminescence. The tunnel experience is freaky, creepy, and awe inspiring. Such a special ecosystem. And the bioluminescence is best described by my 88 year old dad who said “ it makes me feel like a kid again!” It’s a giggly, artsy, unworldly experience. Joy, our amazing guide, made it all so fun and kept us intrigued with fun facts. She obviously loves this area and these tours. You must do this!

Great experience, friendly staff, good equipment. Family of 6, we had 3 tandem kayaks. We had experience with canoeing in the past, so our kids were totally fine and it wasn't hard at all - although some other people in the group we went out in struggled at first figuring out steering. Wove our way through the mangrove tunnels and also got some nice sunset views on the wider parts of the river. Our friendly guide, Cameron, was informative and helpful. They also take pictures so you don't have to, although we still took our cameras because they provide free waterproof dry bags and phone cases. Saw a couple dolphins on our way out and our way in, as well as many birds. We want to come back again - next time in the spring/summer for the bioluminescence tour.

Cocoa Kayacking made sure that our experience was one of a kind. Throughout the tour, we learned so much about Florida wildlife and even got to see dolphins and a baby manatee. I would recommend this tour to anyone. We had so much fun. Thank you for a wonderful experience Cocoa Kayaking !
