Ticket pass to the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center (Self-Guided Tour)

Overview
No venue in the Smokies provides a better glimpse into the human history and diverse cultures that have inhabited this beautiful region. From the Native American villages of 10,000 years ago to the moonshine culture of the 20th century, the Heritage Center offers a little something for everyone. You can also tour authentic structures of the region which have been relocated to the Heritage Center campus for preservation and interpretation. These structures are fully furnished, just as you would have encountered them in their original locations. Included in the collection are log structures dating to circa 1800 as well as a church, a sawmill, a blacksmith shop, cantilever barns, and even a moonshine still house!

Wonderful museum that brings the history of the Smokies to life. Packs a lot in but manageable and not overwhelming and all in one place! Perfect for families to get an overview of the area's amazing people and history. Only regret is that we weren't there for their outdoor concert series....looks amazing. What a gem - just go visit! You won't regret it....
