I booked this trip as a solo traveler and had some worries about traveling to TJ. It was nothing but safe and friendly and Iā€™m glad I went. The ā€œsnackā€ was chips and pico, two tacos and some beans and it was very filling. Iā€™m vegetarian so I ate beforehand and I didnā€™t need to. They made a guac and cheese taco for me special, which was appreciated. I ordered a margarita and it was only $5.00 US. You get 2ish hours to walk around and explore and shop. I was able to bring back some Mexican candies and a bottle of tequila, both of which I paid with credit card so it was super easy. I would recommend this trip, but do not think this is a guided tour, you are on your own when shopping.

We booked a tour from San Diego to Tijuana and was disappointed by the lack of organization from this company. The tour started off bad when the tour guide asked if we ā€œwanted to hear the bad news or good news first.ā€ The bad news was that the bus that we were using to get to Tijuana had broken down but the company would pay for us to take Uber to the border. Needless to say, our entire trip with this company was full of unexpected surprises. From doing an extreme amount of walking to switching buses three times and no clear direction from the company, I would say yessave your money and do not book a Tijuana tour with this company.

Iā€™m sorry to hear about your bad experience, despite the issue with the bus we did our best not to cancel the tour. I can understand your frustration. Nevertheless I hope you enjoyed Tijuana.

It was canceled about an hour before we were scheduled to leave, they had issues with their driver. They did offer to reschedule or to refund, due to a time constraint we took the refund.
