Everyone knows the name Titanic! Everyone knows Titanic struck an iceberg! And everyone knows Titanic was lost! She sat at the bottom of the ocean for 75 years before they found her in 1985. A second expedition to the wreck site went out in 1986 and that expedition was co-led by the owner of this museum. The artifacts you see throughout the ship are REAL and valued at over $4 million dollars. You'll enter as a guest and leave as a Titanic Passenger!

What To Expect

Titanic Museum

As the whole world remembers the world’s most famous luxury liner, Titanic Museum Attraction in Branson. MO. will continue to open the door to the past in it’s one-of-a-kind way – letting “passengers” experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins and Grand Staircase of the Titanic while surrounded by more than 400 artifacts directly from the ship and its passengers. As visitors touch a real iceberg, walk the Grand Staircase and third class hallways, reach their hands into 28-degree water, and try to stand on the sloping decks, they learn what it was like on the RMS Titanic by experiencing it first-hand. Each guest entering the ship will receive a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger or crew. Feel their spirit presence in the galleries where over 400 personal and private artifacts are on display. Many are on display for the first time in the world. This is a self-guided tour.

These are self guided tours through the museum that offer both adult and kids audio tours. The museum had set up sample rooms of how the passengers would have lived amongst their class. They had some artifacts and stories of passengers. We really enjoyed it. Be aware that you cannot take any pictures inside of the museum due copyright issues with some of the displays.

This commercial museum is very well done. Interesting exhibits, very proactive staff, posing as crew. We were surprised at the number of actual artifacts. Our grandson is Titantic obsessed, and loved it. My second visit, but this time I took time to read exhibits, and follow passengers from boarding to final status. The staff member in the musicians gallery is a good piano player, playing for us Nearer My God to Thee, historically played as the ship sank.

The displays helped you connect personally with all the people on board. The demonstrations that you either watched or took part in gave you an understanding of how large the ship was and what a devastating event this was. I watched the video on how it happened over and over trying to understand what it might have been like. There were several interactive stations for children to learn about it. I really expected the grand staircase to be the most impressive thing there, but found myself drawn into the stories of the people more. No cameras allowed inside.
