Overview

Come join New York City's only sightseeing theater experience. You'll experience the history and culture of famous downtown Manhattan sights (Wall Street, the Woolworth Building, City Hall, Chinatown, Little Italy) while watching an original film noir comedy play. The two hour tour (available for up to 15 people) begins in Hanover Square as humble guide, Jason Thompson, attempts to lead a tour, when his ex-fiance unexpectedly barges in and tasks the group to find her missing husband. Every tour is unique and every group is immersed in a film noir thriller, filled with witty bantering and bickering as they help Jason and his alluring femme fatale solve clues and navigate the winding streets of downtown Manhattan.

What To Expect

Wall Street

We banter and bicker with Veronica about her husband until we find a strange clue related to the case.

City Hall Park

After passing many Lower Manhattan landmarks, we find ourselves in City Hall Park where we hopefully solve the clue.

Little Italy

We discuss even more seedier and notorious elements of New York before we head on to what one hopes is a successful Femme Fatale trap! Again - no spoilers.

I recently traveled to NYC with my 9 year old son and wanted him to see as many of the awesome New York tourist sites as possible. After exploring several different travel sites and tour guide ads, we decided to go on the Tour Noir: A Dame To Guide For. It seemed different than all the other tours because it not only was going to take us to tons of different downtown sites, it included a very entertaining and hilarious show. The main tour guide, Jason, was an encyclopedia of historical information for all the downtown landmarks. We learned so much. I felt like I was on a History Channel TV show. What made it even better was that the entire tour took place with Jason having on ongoing back and forth with an "ex" that just happened to show up for the tour. Was it planned? Was it an accident? What did she want? What were her intentions? Who knew---but it was funny and entertaining. They traded amusing quips all tour long until a big final conclusion, which I will not give away. Without any spoilers, i will say it was funny and made the entire tour a unique experience I would gladly go on again. Well done! The entire cast and script was excellent. The guides were all very friendly and engaging. My son loved it and wants to go back. Thanks for a great time. I will highly recommend to all my friends visiting NY. A MUST SEE and DO!

As a native New Yorker, this gave me a whole new perspective on the city. Having done a bit of traveling around Europe and going on a number of tours, this was by far the best tour I have ever been on. Jason and his team do a wonderful job of providing a high quality tour experience while treating the group to an engaging and interactive play throughout. I highly recommend this tour to anybody interested in learning a little bit more about the vast and intricate history New York City holds.
