During my one day stay in SLC, I managed to connect with City Sights tours (trolley version) which turned out to be one of the best 90 minute overview tours of any city I have visited. What made it so good was the 2 guides. They obviously had put alot of work into their "routine" and made the 90 minutes very interesting and enjoyable. On one of the stops where we got off of the trolley, I managed to have a chance to ask some questions of one of my guides. His knowledge of the city's history and the history of the Mormon religion was quite impressive. The tour included the old train station which has now been converted into shops, the historical non-Mormon section of SLC, the state capitol building, a episcopal church, and Temple Square as seen from the streets defining the square. Overall: a very informative, enjoyable 90 minute overview tour of SLC and Temple Square with two very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guides. Highly recommended.

Fun and educational tour around downtown with several stops for pictures. Snacks included! Had only a short stay in town so this helped us get a good overview.
