Truly Authentic Lancaster Experience!

Overview
If you are looking for a true, overall "Lacaster experience" this is the tour for you. We begin with a walking tour of Lancaster City, where our knowledgable guides provide an overview of the rich and multifaceted history of our beautiful city. Next, we depart in our tour van to visit and experience the real and remote areas of Lancaster County that only locals know. Our guides are deeply connected to many Amish people here in the county and will provide a wealth of knowledge and information along the way. We'll make two stops at Amish properties, giving you an insight into their world, and some ice cream to top it off. We look forward to introducing the unique and fascinating culture and history of Lancaster!

Loved having the variety of a walk around history of Lancaster followed by a comfortable ride through the countryside. Our tour operator, Mike, was very knowledgeable about both Lancaster and the Amish culture. Great feature of having ear pieces to help hear everything he said, especially in downtown Lancaster. Stopping for a delicious scoop of ice cream was a delicious treat. I highly recommend this tour!

Thanks so much for the great review! I enjoyed your group thoroughly and applaud those, like yourselves, for choosing to also learn about Lancaster City in addition to the Amish. We have so much to share and love it when we get the opportunity to do so on the Authentic Lancaster Experience.

Mike met us at 9 am and proceeded to show us around Lancaster on foot. He was thorough, knowledgable and very nice to spend time with. We enjoyed learning the history of Lancaster and the surrounding area. The ride to the Amish Country area was pleasant with two wonderful stops: one was possibly the best ice cream we ever had; the second was a home/workshop of an Amish family. Sadly, the Central Market was not open on our tour day (only open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday). Mike gave us an alternative recommendation for lunch (C'est La Vie) which was great. We highly recommend this specific tour with Mike.
