Truly Authentic Lancaster Experience!

Overview
If you are looking for a true, overall "Lacaster experience" this is the tour for you. We begin with a walking tour of Lancaster City, where our knowledgable guides provide an overview of the rich and multifaceted history of our beautiful city. Next, we depart in our tour van to visit and experience the real and remote areas of Lancaster County that only locals know. Our guides are deeply connected to many Amish people here in the county and will provide a wealth of knowledge and information along the way. We'll make two stops at Amish properties, giving you an insight into their world, and some ice cream to top it off. We look forward to introducing the unique and fascinating culture and history of Lancaster!

This Lancaster activity far exceeded our expectations. Mike, our guide, was very personable, knowledgeable about Lancaster, and made every stop interesting! Lancaster has so much to offer with such rich history that Mike brought to life for us. We would highly recommend Truly Authentic Lancaster Experience to anyone coming to the Lancaster area.

Our family of five, kids ages ranging from 7-13, scheduled this tour but due to city logistical issues, we were only able to do the countryside tour and had to miss the Lancaster city portion. The tour company was very responsive and helpful to coordinate alternative options. What a blessing in disguise! We had an amazing time with our guide Dale. He is a Lancaster native and shared a fascinating history of Pennsylvania and the Amish that even the kids were paying attention. We went to the Amish farm and saw an hours-old baby pony and even had a chance to speak with owner. Had some great ice cream too. I’m sure there may be similar tours, but to those who have taken many tours in their lifetime, you know that the guide makes or breaks the tour. Dale does a fantastic mix of history, insight and personal experience to really get you an understanding and appreciation of the land and people. I think the best thing is that my kids were not interested in this tour but it turned out to be their favorite of our long cross-country trip!! Thank you Dale and team!

Thank you so much for this lovely review. We should also take the opportunity to review you as guests. The unanticipated logistical problems would have turned many away, but you stuck with us and allowed us to deliver a quality experience in the end. We appreciate your willingness to roll with things when others may have thrown up their hands. Thank you also for pointing out what a fantastic guide Dale is and what a great asset he is to our company. We are all committed to giving our guests the best experiences possible, even when things go a little sideways.
