My girlfriend and I dived in the beginning of May. Our instructor was Tanya who speaks a perfect French. She provided us with very useful instructions and let us dive without being intrusive. We really enjoyed this experience that we strongly advise you to do !

I took a friend who was recently certified out to the keys to start diving some wrecks and gain experience, I have to say I liked the operation that Scuba fun had going on overall. The staff was friendly and generally knowledgable. They gave us a nice mesh bag and a tarp for the trunk of our vehicle, that made it easy to transport our gear when we needed to. Most days the gear was actually transported to the respective dive boat by Tanya or another staff member and we would meet them at the boat, dive our days dives and put the gear back on the truck. The dive centre would then wash the gear for us and hang it to dry, so the next morning we would get our clean gear back at the next dive boat. The only thing that I noticed that I didn't like was the fact that if you wanted a guide it was 35 per person and the guide would take up to 5 people. Essentially a group of 5 people ends up paying close to 200 USD for a guide...which I think is a bit steep. Mind you most dives in the keys you can do without a guide (we dove all week without a guide) but it is nice to have someone who knows their way around, just to get the most out of the dives and your profiles. The prices for the dives themselves were reasonable; they have good packages to do wrecks along the keys (even key west/ vandenberg). I am not much of a reef lover but we did a few reefs and the reefs are very much alive, there are many species around and sometimes if you are lucky you may even say sharks or rays. The wrecks, needless to say, are awesome and I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves wrecks as much as I do. Now this isn't specific to scuba fun but I would also like to point out the water in the keys is quite unpredictable...I have never had to use anti- emetics but I found myself using them this trip because some days the water was flat with no current and other days we had 5 ft chop out in the open water, with strong current at certain dive sites. BE CAREFUL!
