Overview

This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

Dived with this facility April 6 to 12th - After reviewing of what they had to offer as compared to the other dive facilities in the area and the communications back & forth / I made a very wise choice. I will start with the front desk (Kirsten & Anya) - I was delayed in Canada due to a snow storm and I was concerned about missing my dives / accommodations etc........not to worry, these girls re-arranged everything from my dives to my hotel lodgings and made it happen !!!, awesome customer relations and no matter what the obstacle they will take care of you.Thanks girls your the best !!! - The guides (Dan, Daniel & Tanya) - I have witnessed Divemastering over my 34 year career but these people should teach a course in how its properly done - what an amazing job they do. Me being an instructor it didn't matter - they have a responsibility and they address this with the utmost professionalism - way to go !!! - in all honesty your are the best ! - As for the facility as a whole // they do take care of you from meeting you at the dock to & from / washing your gear and ensuring that you have a most enjoyable time - they do it to the highest - Would I recommend this facility // you bet I do !!! and they will make your dive dreams come true. I would also like to thank Sea Dwellers and Rainbow Reef Divers for allowing me to come aboard and to make this happen - another group of fine well run operations. Again, Thank-you to all at Scuba for Fun - you are the best.

My husband and I had our first 2 open water ocean dives after getting certified with scuba fun. During our check in the day prior to our scheduled dives, we were welcomed by the dive shops owner. She was super nice and got us fitted for our wetsuits. The following morning while en route to the dive site, we got a call from our dive guide Tanya telling us the seas weren't very calm and we had the option to opt out or go out for the dives. We ended up going out for the dives. Despite the swells (about 5ft) and the motion sickness that came along with them, we had a great morning out. Tons of sea life and good views of the reef. Tanya was very patient and understanding of our lack of experience, which made everything better for us. The shop was nice enough to rinse and clean our gear and let it hang dry over night. This was a nice touch to it all. Next time we're in the keys, we will book again!

Took my nephew to do his advanced open water dives and could not have asked for anything more . Anya ,the owner , could not have been more helpful putting the dive schedule together plus our accommodation . excellent value for the price in the Keys . Also a heads up on the best food available locally , we ate very well ! My nephew's instructor , Daniel , was very professional in all facets - from briefing to the dives plus very safety oriented. Most importantly my young nephew would give rave reviews after returning from his dives talking about all the new things he had learned . He was so excited for the next day's dive courses to begin he was like a kid in a candy shop ! I had come here because of a recommendation from a friend and it was an excellent call !
