Overview

This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

Four of our family of six went diving with Scuba Fun. We had three generations of divers represented. The youngest was 11 and she had just been certified. We had communicated ahead of time by phone and email and had filled out personal info online. On arrival to the shop we met Dan, who checked us in and helped us with paperwork, gear selection and was ultimately our private guide for 4 of our 6 dives. He was so helpful and such a cool guy. He knows the dives sites and showed us many interesting things we would not have seen without his expertise. He was so good with our granddaughter on her first ocean dives. We were happy with our gear and the diving program. Kerstin and Anya were very nice and took care of all our scheduling needs, including a snorkel trip for the other 2 in our family. We'll be back! Highly recommended

As a French/German family, we came with our young children (10 & 13) for a discover scuba diving course. Beginning with the online registration and the first questions we had until the diving time itself, we had a full support of the whole team, from the front desk to the instructors, speaking the same language as our children, which was for them really reassuring. We came the evening before and received the first instructions, then in the morning the full theoretical instructions, with video, questionnaire, pool exercises ... They made the entire course accessible for children. As the weather was windy, we had to find another day for the reef diving, but also this wasn´t an issue and the team found an diving spot for us the day after. The diving itself was the most wonderful moments of our whole journey in Florida. We had an instructor for 3 divers, he took the time to explain again some features, to make sure that we were all confident with our equipment before diving ... and then it was just magic to dive in this clear and absolutely blue water. After that we left Key Largo for Key West but came back 2 days later and asked very shortly by Scuba-Fun if a second reef diving was possible and yes, they made it possible. Here we could dive again in a small group of 4 with own instructor and we had the fantastic luck to see a shark and 2 rays! We will never forget this first diving experience. Thanks to Scuba-Fun-Team and I would definitively go diving with them again if we will have the chance to return to this area.

Definitely my go to dive shop in the key! Walked into the shop out of the blue to try it out and now currently have done about 20 dives with them. I've done most of my dives with Tanya and recommend her as a guide!!
