Overview

This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

From the inquiry and booking to the trip itself and meeting our dive guide, Dan Lennon, our experience diving Key Largo for the first time was nothing short of wonderful. The shop took care of getting a refresher course in for one of our divers in the group done on short notice. Fully stocked shop - I saw our divers that needed some rental gear were given excellent quality BC and regs. Don't miss out on this dive shop in Key Largo - wonderfully painted with a beautiful ocean mural by Wyland on the four-story building!!

We were actually supposed to go diving with another company and some mishaps happened with travel plans and the weather. We did however get to go on a dive with Scuba Fun as a walk-in. The people were absolutely wonderful there all the way from the front desk, to the guide we had, to the people who helped rinse our gear at the end of the day. The prices are about average for diving in the area. We liked having the guide (which costs extra) because it made a large boat of people feel like we were just diving with a few people. She took us away from where the captain of the boat suggested and it made a huge difference. Our guide also found a shark for us as an added bonus. I would definitely go diving with them again if we were in the area.

A friend and I took a long weekend trip to dive in the keys. Having never been there it was a bit of a shot in the dark regarding which scuba operation to use. I am so very pleased to have found Scuba-Fun. We did an afternoon set of dives and a morning set the next day. Both days we opted to hire a guide since we are fairly inexperienced divers. Our guides Dan and Tanya were amazing! Everyone at Scuba-Fun treated us exceptionally well and made us feel like we were their only priority all the way from booking on day one through the day we left the keys. I will certainly be giving these folks a call on my next trip to the area.
