Overview

This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

I contacted Scuba-Fun from the SSI locator as I was in Miami. I was in Miami for a few weeks for work and it was my last weekend so I wanted to dive. I called the day before and it was no problem getting me into their schedule the next day, Saturday. I hadn't dove in a few year and it was recommended that I take the refresher course which in the end was useful. The entire staff was very welcoming and professional. Dan, my instructor and dive guide was top notch and I have 2 great dives that day after he helped me refresh my skills. Scuba-Fun is an excellent experience for beginners and experienced divers a like. And I guess this dive center is the only one that speaks German so if you speak the language this is the place for you. I will return and dive again with Scuba-Fun!

This was my third trip to Key Largo and my third time with Scuba Fun. They booked my hotel as well as gave me a dive package which saved money and made my visit so much easier! I told them the types of dives I would like to do and they found boats offering those experiences. Divemaster Dan was very friendly and easily transitioned between speaking English and speaking German, briefing us on the next dives, safety briefings and "miscellaneous stories" (be sure and ask about the story of the Golden Horseshoes.) Divemasters Daniel, Kirsten, Anya and Tanya actually remembered me from previous visits and met me with a hug and friendly smile. I rented gear from them this time and the gear was new and in great shape. This is a very special dive shop in a lovely location,

We never did scuba diving before, and with a 3 days notice, things really looked impossible for my son and I. But they worked it out! Danny was our first instructor, spent overtime making sure we were solid with the diving tables' math before our certification exam, and Tanya patiently walked us through our 4 certification dives! Very good instructors and very helpful staff everywhere.
