Overview

This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

5 Stars! I did a refresher and 2 dives with instructor Tanya, it was absolutely perfect - competent from beginning to end, it was so much fun! Would absolutely recommend it and I'd come back at any time!

I was recently down in Key Largo at Scuba Fun doing my open water dives to complete my Padi Open Water Diver certification. They were recommended to me by Underwater Safaris in Chicago where I did the course work (class+pool) in November 2015. I had a blast with Scuba Fun and my instructor Tanya was both very knowledgeable and made learning a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend them if you're looking to dive while out in the Keys or do your open water dives.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated like Royalty. The Scuba-Fun team does an excellent job taking care of you. My brother Tim and I did the Discover Scuba Diving course. This is an option for people who are not yet certified. I highly recommend it! Kerstin was such a sweetheart, and did a great job teaching us everything we needed to know in the pool. Once we got on the boat, it was smooth sailing with Dan as our coach and scuba guide. Talk about a cool dude with an extraordinary amount of knowledge! He walked us through everything, and again made sure that we felt comfortable and were good to go. Once we made our first leap off the boat, the experience truly began. Breathing underwater... It felt like we had Super powers! Dan used his slate to teach us all about the things we were witnessing underwater, and took a bunch of sick pictures. And Daniel was very friendly and took some awesome pics too! Seriously, these guys are the best! So if you are contemplating where and who to go diving with in Key Largo... Look no further. You gotta go Scuba-Fun!
