My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the Underground Tour through American Legacy Tours. Taking a step back in time and seeing my hometown from a different perspective was such a wonderful adventure. Our guides, Chelsie and John, were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Their stories were engaging and their pacing was impeccable. I learned so much and laughed along the way! Chelsie and John were very personable, making sure all guests were taken care of and really getting everyone to participate in the discussion. As a fan of history and a self-proclaimed "history buff", I really appreciated that both Chelsie and John obviously did a lot of research - they really knew their "stuff"! It was wonderful that they went beyond the history we learn in school and shared the stories of the people that actually lived in the neighborhood. This tour has something for everyone and I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone I meet. If you're new to Cincinnati, or even a long-time resident like me, you will learn something new and truly appreciate the colorful, unique and dynamic Queen City.

First you listen to a story at Gangster Piano bar. The guys screamed everything he was saying. He need to just talk loudly, we could of heard him. They also should of taken us into a bar or something, instead of just looking at building. I did the Queen City underground Tour and liked it much better.

We had been thinking of doing the tour for years, I wish we had done it sooner. I lived in Over the Rhine years ago and became active in the community. My knowledge of the neighborhood barely scratched the surface of the information provided by our guides, John and Chelsea. Not only were they knowledgable, but they were entertaining. You could tell that they truly enjoyed their job as well as the neighborhood they were giving us a tour of. I had the opportunity of to take an underground tour of Edinburgh and the information provided by the tour guides of The Queen City Underground Tour was far superior. The fact that the group is invested in the neighborhood made the tour far less commercial and more interesting and insightful. At the end of the day we purchased tickets for one of the other tours offered. One caveat, our tour only included two underground stops and from the name of the tour we thought there would be a few more underground points of interest. The only downside for me...I wish it were longer.
