We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample or samples of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Do-Rite Donuts, Firecakes, Stans, and Doughnut Vault.

What To Expect

The Loop

The Underground Donut Tour takes place over two hours. We'll visit four of the best donut stores in the city. All of them are located in the Chicago Loop area and we'll try a few donuts from each location. Donuts are included in the cost of the tour. You'll also have the option to purchase additional donuts if you wish.

What a terrific experience. Jackson (guide) was terrific and the whole experience was quite unique. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone visiting Chicago.

Did this tour on a girls weekend! Highly recommend! There was a little Chicago history, a few donut puns, and a nice walk around the city. The donuts were delicious, the Tahitian Vanilla was my favorite! Our guide Nick was a delight.

We give it four and a half donuts out of 5! We enjoyed the tour and Jackson was a great guide. We felt like there was a bit too much walking (over the river and back with no shop there) so maybe add a shop or shorten the tour? Overall we had a good experience and would recommend it to others.
