We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample or samples of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Do-Rite Donuts, Firecakes, Stans, and Doughnut Vault.

What To Expect

The Loop

The Underground Donut Tour takes place over two hours. We'll visit four of the best donut stores in the city. All of them are located in the Chicago Loop area and we'll try a few donuts from each location. Donuts are included in the cost of the tour. You'll also have the option to purchase additional donuts if you wish.

What an absolutely wonderful tour! I fell in love with Jackson, instantly! This tour is all about donuts but with that being said, Jackson and Nick also shared some great Chicago history and facts! Jackson and Nick absolutely make this tour what it is....WONDERFUL! If you are looking for great eats and even greater fun, you should absolutely go on this tour!! Thank you for a great experience!

We signed up on a whim, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Jackson and Nick were engaging, gracious, and knowledgeable. They shared interesting historical tidbits which made the walk between shops all the more enjoyable, and their attempts at casual humor were effective (mostly) and brought levity to the group. The donuts were all outstanding -- unique, creative, and very tasty. Would definitely recommend this tour if you've got a couple extra hours. Well worth it!

Nick and Jackson our tour guides were Absolutely Amazing!!! Never did we feel rushed, they always waited for the entire group! The donuts were delicious!!! The best part of this tour was the Guides!!!!
