We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample or samples of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Do-Rite Donuts, Firecakes, Stans, and Doughnut Vault.

What To Expect

The Loop

The Underground Donut Tour takes place over two hours. We'll visit four of the best donut stores in the city. All of them are located in the Chicago Loop area and we'll try a few donuts from each location. Donuts are included in the cost of the tour. You'll also have the option to purchase additional donuts if you wish.

Max was fantastic! Tearing the donuts up to only give portions was a great idea! That way we didn't get stuffed and we got to try a number of different flavors. Highly recommend this tour!

Fun walk interrupted by 4 stops at different artisan donut shops. Max did a good job keeping the group together and informing us of various ‘facts’ about Chicago while on the walk. Great donuts too!

Jackson is the bomb! Not only entertaining but knowledgable about Chicago! This tour is good for all ages. Just the right amount of walking and eating. Who knew there were so many options when it comes to donuts. Highly recommend and would absolutely signup again!
