We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample or samples of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Do-Rite Donuts, Firecakes, Stans, and Doughnut Vault.

What To Expect

The Loop

The Underground Donut Tour takes place over two hours. We'll visit four of the best donut stores in the city. All of them are located in the Chicago Loop area and we'll try a few donuts from each location. Donuts are included in the cost of the tour. You'll also have the option to purchase additional donuts if you wish.

Was an entertaining tour. Two hosts were great and very accommodating. Had good conversation while also being informative and funny. Learned some cool thing about the city. Coming back in the summer time. Firecakes was my personal favorite

Good tour, but cost way too much at $40. We paid $45 ($40 + $5 gratuity) per person and only had a total of 2 and a quarter doughnuts…then to watch the tour guide walk away with 3 boxes of doughnuts and there was only 4 of us on the tour. We could’ve easily taken home a box later.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. We are sorry to hear that the city tour, the sampling of more than 10 flavors of donuts and the drink were not worth the price of the ticket. Our tour is one of the least expensive food tours in the country with thousands of 5star reviews with satisfied guests; however, we understand that we cannot be everyone's cup of tea.
