I can not recommend this tour enough. Shaun is an amazing tour guide; knowledgeable, professional, funny. The 3 farms we toured were filled with foals, so we got to see lots of babies. Shaun gave us peppermints to feed the mommas, they loved them! You’ll get lots of background info on the farms as well as some of the prestigious bloodlines of the horses. Be prepared to be amazed by what some of these animals are worth! My teenage son and I had such a great time and I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Would highly recommend this tour. Sean, our tour guide, is “Mr. Lexington” and is extraordinarily entertaining.He has a wide knowledge of the Lexington area and, in particular, the sport of horse racing. Tour consisted of a visit to three different breeding farms. We witnessed a veterinarian examining a foal who was less than 12 hours old. We were able to interact with the horses both in the field and in the Yearling and Mare barns. Awesome experience

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about Kentucky thoroughbreds.Tour included 3 stops to see up close pedigree stallions. We had opportunity to take photos and touch the horses as well as touring the stables and walking the grounds. A great way to experience first hand this aspect of Kentucky.
