Sean Washington picked us up at the Fairfield Inn and Suites North. We visited 3 horse farms where we saw horses in the stables, visited with grooms, petted horses, observed new foals with their mothers in their paddock and saw one foal that was less than 12 hrs. old. It was a beautiful day and we were allowed to walk down a small lane for a closer look at the mares and foals in their paddock. Also stopped at a yearling farm for photo opportunities. Our last stop was at Rood/Riddle Animal hospital where we observed a surgery on a horse. What an experience! Sean was an awesome tour guide! He shared information and offered tips on other places to visit or dine. Thanks for a great morning, Sean. I would highly recommend this tour.

Shaun was great. Extremely knowledgeable and personable. We toured Horse Farms on Saturday and Distilleries on Sunday. Shaun made great choices for both. We've been on tours all around the US and in Europe and this tour was as good as it gets. His knowledge of thoroughbreds is amazing. Sunday was great fun - bourbon tasting and educational at the same time. We're already talking about our return trip - Shaun will be the first person we call.

My 14 year old daughter and I and our friends visiting from out of state took this horse farm tour with tour guide Shaun Washington and we LOVED IT! Shaun has an unbelievable knowledge of the area, the horse farms and the equine industry. He has connections that will get you into the private farms that you otherwise would not have access to! We got to see Man o War's tomb and the location where part of movie Sea Biscuit was filmed! Lots of tours out there but this is the one you want to take!!
