I live in Cincinnati, and always take or send visitors down to Lexington to take this tour. Shaun does an awesome job, and no two tours that I have been on have been the same. One year, we visited during Spring Break, and all the foal were out running around. We even saw one that was 5 hours old in the barn. Shaun works with the visitors to accommodate their preferences as much as possible. His access to the horse farms and barns, and stories will captivate all ages.

We had an awesome day visiting a few horse farms and bourbon distilleries with Shaun, he knows all there is to know about the local history and horses! He is a master story teller and will keep you entertained all day! He'll definitely be the first person we call when we are next in Lexington.

We were in Lexington on New Years Eve and my wife, a horse lover, wanted to take a Horse Farm Tour. We called several but because we were only 3 people (our daughter was with us) we were turned down by all except Shawn at Unique Horse Farm Tours. He met us at the designated hour and took us on a tour of three outstanding horse farms. While these were great, what made the trip exceptional was Shawn. He is an encyclopedia of horses, race horses, horse farms and their owners. Basically we had a private tour where we were able to feed and pet the horses as well as learn so much.
