Recently I went to the Breeders Cup in Lexington, KY, and being a horse breeder I took a tour of the horse country I always had heard about. I've never been as entertained as I was by proprietor Sean Washington. He was the most engaging and informative guide my wife and I have ever encountered. A must for anyone going to Lexington!!!

I have been coming to Lexington for quite a few years and have taken several different farm tours, but none of them compare to this tour. Shawn says he loves people, horses and Lexington, and it definitely shows. There are no other tours that even come close! I can't say enough about the experience, but I take his tour every time I am in Lexington and look forward to seeing Shawn. He is a Lexington treasure.

The Lexington area is so beautiful to drive around, but Shawn brings it to the next level. His tour opens gates to world renown horse farms and gives you the opportunity to see future stars nursing at their mothers side, all the way to retired stallions whose names you all know. And as if that wasn't enough, his humor, and knowledge of the area's colorful history capped off an incredible experience. Thanks Shawn. P.S. before the Breeders Cup at Keeneland 2015, NBC showed a small clip of Shawn giving a tour at Winstar Farm Stallion Division, (glad I saw it!)
