My wife, 11 year old granddaughter and I took a 9:15 AM tour this past week with Mr. Shaun Washington as our guide. It was a cold day and had snowed the previous day. It turned out that we were the only people on the bus at that time. We shared with Shaun that our granddaughter rides once a week at small horse farm. Shaun decided that he wanted to tailor our tour to allow our granddaughter to get very "up close and hands on" with some new foals, 3 weeks old, as well as the training barns at Keeland and the Shadwell Stallion Center. What a tour and what a treat! The tour was everything and more we had hoped for. Our granddaughter was so happy. Shaun is very knowledgable, very informative and a delight to be around. This was the frosting on the cake of our Kentucky Horse Park visit. Barry McG

Shaun Washington, our tour guide, is a charming and knowledgeable insider who obviously loves his city and its thoroughbred heritage. visited horse park and took horse farm tour with mr. shaun washington. very informative and a great look behind the scene of what goes on at the horse farms.i highly endorse the tour for true horse lovers and fans. park lived up to all expectations and museums great.
