Great personalized tour by a guide that KNOWS horses! His personality was SO engaging, we hung on his every word! I will never be able to think of the great champions of thoroughbred racing and not hear Shawn’s voice… and the farms he took us to were spectacular! Well worth your time; a great introduction to the Blue Grass State!

We really enjoyed listening to Shaun, our tour guide, tell us his personal stories. He has lived in the area his entire life and is knowledgeable and very entertaining. He gave us a good understanding of how the thoroughbred industry works. Best of all, at two of the three farms that we visited, we were allowed to interact with the horses; petting (and talking to) them if they were amenable to it. I also got to feed one peppermints. We were lucky to have a beautiful day for touring. The farms are located near Lexington and it is beautiful countryside. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn more about the industry or just see beautiful horses.

We greatly enjoyed our tour of the Kentucky horse farms with #Unique Horse Farms Tours. Sean was a wonderful guide as well as jovial, friendly. The bus was clean and comfortable and we traveled in a small group (7 on our bus). Definitely worth the price of admission.
